This Year's Tree

This year's tree is a little different. There will be no presents under it. Don't feel too bad for us though because our presents are hanging on the tree. We've been planning this big Law family cruise for 18 months and it is finally happening! This is a lot more fun than buying presents.

Always Enough Food!

Thanksgiving in SV was another success. Plenty of food and good company. The only problem for Grandpa was that the t.v. continued to get messed up. It's a constant battle to try to get the t.v. working when company is there. Fortunately there are plenty of people there so that no one has to take the blame for messing it up!
Our drink this year was what we lovingly named a "Fresh Crime." It was our own creation of sprite, lime and cranberry juice...thus the name.

We didn't even come close to eating all of these pies.
The "see ya later alligator" shot with Grandma! Good thing she got out of the hospital just in time to cook the feast :)

Laundry Room/Bathroom...DONE!

The old vinyl floor and green countertops have been replaced...for the better!

I Love the Table I Once Hated!

Dayton painted our very, very old yucky table and now it matches my distressed cabinets. I love it! The only bad part is that we only have five chairs. One member of our family will not be able to eat with us at family meals. If anyone has an old wooden chair they don't want...send it my way. I'll paint it and add it to my hodge podge of chairs.

We're Baking!

Gingerbread cookies! That means that we have a functioning stove and we couldn't be happier. One more week for a sink, but heck, we've adjusted to doing dishes in the bathtub! You just can't cook in the tub :)
