It's a Small World

Dayton just called and told me that he had some cool news. He had just talked to a family that he had worked with for a long time in Houston while he was on his mission. In the process of preparing to baptize the children, he and his companion found out that the parents were getting divorced and were putting things on hold because of that. Dayton was sad about this and so were the children.

Well, he just found out in a conversation with this family today, that the mother and children are now moving right into the center of....Bo's mission! Is that a small world or what!

The Family Plan

This week's morning Sunday Special was "The Family Plan." Mariah cooked eggs, pancakes, juice, fresh cut fruit with all the fixins' for a family of four for $3.00...plus a tip!

Toast, Toast, and Tie!

Union freshmen got to go to Craig, Colorado on Saturday and play three games against Steamboat, Battle Mountain and Grand Junction. The boys did great. They toasted the first two teams and gained some mighty fine "Colorado Respect." In their final game against Grand Junction, (a school twice our size) they gained even more! They ended in a tie and lost by one point in sudden death overtime! Good job boys.

Roo's Room Service and Stuff

Mariah is back in business with "Roo's Room Service and Stuff." It's quite an ingenious business plan for sure. Each Sunday she offers a breakfast special. You can order it the night before and choose what time you want it. You will notice that she even has a family meal plan. Today Dave ordered the special and was not disappointed.

All cash earned goes directly into the cash register and there are Sunday evening games for opportunities to earn "free meal stuff!"
She's smart enough to ask for tips as well.
This is the snack menu that you can order if RRSS is open.

She even offers four toppings for the pancakes: peanut butter, nutella, syrup and fresh raspberry jam.
Just as ordered and delivered in bed. Perfect. She earned a $1.00 tip for this one.
