Valentines Surprise
I came home two days before Valentines and found this on the table. Dave had kind of gotten mixed up on when Valentines Day really was, but it was great to get this surprise early. The Maurice's girl did an excellent job choosing some really cute clothes once again!
This is How She Plays
Isn't technology amazing! This is how Mariah learns a lot of her new songs for piano. Pretty impressive way to learn.
Comparing the Winnings
Well it was a weekend of winning for the Law's. Here is Bo with his GoPro and here is Dave with his winnings from the Quade Bowen Fundraiser. When they announced that Dave had won a Zombie Knife, we thought they were joking. When he went to pick it up, we decided that there was certainly no other use for this knife than to kill zombies! It is huge and sharp and so heavy. Needless to say it went up in the china cabinet with the knives that grandpa and grandma Law brought home from Argentina. We are thinking that Cado is going to like this Zombie knife much better. Dave also wonder an elk book and an elk belt pack. Those things should come in handy for him as well. ha ha
Bo's Successful USU Night
Bo loves USU Uintah Basin's Casino night and he came to play and win this year. He did not even take the time to eat. It all paid off when he was able to use his earnings to outbid any other player for this GoPro. He was one happy poker player.
Carnival Talent Show
Being a part of the Carnival Cruise Ship talent show has never entered our minds in years past. But, with Soren on board this all changed. He auditioned to sing a Josh Groban song all in Italian. That boy went on stage with some great performers and knocked it out of the park. Some in the audience even asked if he could sing more. When the cruise director interviewed him afterwards, I think he was even more surprised that Soren was a 16 year old, organic farmer from Wyoming.
Editing the Ship
After a week of feeling DeeAnne's agony as we passed these naked ladies, Joyce and I decided that we would just go by and edit them! DeeAnne didn't really laugh, but by this time I think Soren thought he had some pretty funny aunts. Brian took the pictures and he thought is was pretty humorous too!
Ship Days
Dad was so cute. He said he had spent a long time looking all over for Rook cards to take on the ship. We played several hours of Rook on our ship days. I think it is dad's favorite card game. Why....because he always wins!
