We spent the few hours we had at Cabo shopping. My goal was to get some new Mexican glasses and some more Amoxicillan.
It took some searching, but we found both. And every single one of us ended up with Mexican glasses! Except Dad. He wanted them, but he just could not bring himself to buying some. Next time we are going to buy them for him!

Call Cruising....
We went on the Carnival Miracle this year. It was a little older ship and we missed not having a big screen by the pool. The ship was beautiful, but the shocking part was that there were a lot of almost naked Renaissance pictures all over. DeeAnne about died at first as she was trying to keep Soren from seeing them. The rest of us kind of laughed at her dilemma....even Soren!
There were so many beautiful places on this ship that we just loved and there were so many quiet spots. We kept finding these little hideouts. We loved the Gatsy Gardens. It was just so cute.
We also loved the Alice in Wonderland room. Talk about detail! We never attended any activities here, but would just go in to look and adore it.
Formal dinner nights.
The food was great. Grandpa and Brian ordered salmon every night along with another main dish. They loved it.
Brian and Dad ready to watch a show.

Call Cruise 2015
And we're off! This years Call Cruise was filled with six happy cruisers: Dad, Joyce, Me, Brian, DeeAnne and Soren. How did Soren get in there? Well, Jim was registered to go and ended up cancelling because he had been sick and missed too much work. His spot was available and so Soren happily took it. DeeAnne said he would be just fine because he "likes hanging out with adults!" He was a good sport to say the least.
We just had a short flight from Salt Lake to Los Angelos. We barely got up in the air and we were landing.
When we got to Long Beach I was thrilled to find out that we were only 2 blocks away from George's Greek Cafe! That is Dave and my favorite Greek spot and I got to share it with my family. They loved it and DeeAnne and Soren even broke their fasting to eat there. (Soren was most, most happy about that!)
We had such a great Sunday morning in Long Beach as we waited to get on the ship. We walked all over that great city and went down to the beach. We were intrigued with the black sparkly sand. Grandpa was certain that is was gold in that sand. The rest of us were pretty sure that if it really was gold...someone would have figured that out by now! Either way, it was beautiful.
Beautiful Long Beach.

RITCHIE!
Mariah woke up terrified the other night as she was sleeping downstairs in Cado's room. She had worn her contacts to bed and when she opened her eyes at 5 a.m. she noticed that the word I LOVE RICHIE was written on the ceiling and glowing. She was immediately freaked out and quickly went to Bo's room for some comfort. She woke him up and told him about what she had seen. To her astonishment, Bo was not surprised or concerned at all...nor very comforting! He told her that a girl who lived here before must have had a crush on Richie and painted his name in glow in the dark paint. Little did she know that that word would terrify young girls for the many years to come! Needless to say, we all got a good laugh. It is the truth, but obviously we had all forgotten to tell Mariah!
Fondue With the Calls
You can be assured that if you eat with the Call's, you will be very well fed. This is our after sledding fondue party. Grandma Call would be proud that we are carrying on the tradition of plenty to eat...and lots of leftovers. That's a good thing because there isn't a lot of food at Grandpa's house without it!

Dayton's Going for an MBA
Dayton just found out that he has been accepted in the MBA program at USU. We were so happy to hear the news because he had decided that's what he wanted to do for his masters degree. As we were talking to him on the phone, Mariah came out and asked, "Why does he want to get in the NBA?" Then we said MBA and it finally clicked! She said that she has been so confused this whole time as we have had these discussions with Dayton about his MBA. She thought it was NBA and she could not even believe that he was applying!

New Years Day Sledding With The Calls
We drove to Star Valley on New Years Day to celebrate the last part of our
vacation. Dale's family, Joyce's family ane even Grandpa and Bodee showed up.
We had a toasty fire, hot dogs and hot chocolate. Everyone met at the south end right before you enter the valley. It was a great sledding spot.
Laken and Kayleigh.
Watching the sledders.
Hannah and Mariah.
Bodie.
Shirlene
Bo
All the girls ready to climb the hill.
Evan's wife Sam, always had the worst crashes.
The men getting ready to hike to the top.
Kind of looks like Mt. Everest!
