Cado's Rock Springs Tournament

We made it to our traditional Rock Springs Tournament this weekend. This is our 5th year in a row. So far, it's usually been terribly windy weather and this year was not disappointment. We had a treacherous drive and are glad that we lived to tell about it! Fortunately we had an amazingly nice hotel and thoroughly enjoyed that luxury.

Cado played 3 games and ended 2 and 1. He's bruised and sore but now claims those as marks of honor!

Calling in the Troops!

I think our desperation may be evident. Thirteen beehives and 3 leaders came to our rescue last Wednesday night. For their service activity they came and washed windows and floors. They will be eternally blessed I am sure!

New Entertainment

Cado and Roo have found a new form of entertainment. They discovered this yesterday as we were working at the apartments. They asked for a 2 minute break and so we decided that they could have one. The next thing we knew, they were out front laughing their heads off. They had discovered that the old water tunnel could be used for a much better purpose. They had a great time pushing each other around, so we brought it home. We are sure it will be a neighborhood hit!

Not Quite the Champs this Year

Well another great year of volleyball is over again. How those 6 months just fly by! We find out our rankings this week, but unfortunately, we know we are not the champs. Oh well, some other team needs the glory this year...but we'll take over our reign in 2010!

The Cheesecake Factory

FOOD it a very important factor to any successful Girls Retreat. This was the first time many of us had ever eaten at The Cheesecake Factory and it lived up to its reputation. It was amazingly good, even though I didn't even eat any cheesecake!
