Cado Had the First Bath!

Cado had the inagural (spelling?)bath in our new jetted tub last night. He wore his swimsuit, of course, because there wasn't a door on the bathroom and we all wanted to stand around and watch the jets spray out!

A Successful Day of Tiling!

Not a bad day's work for a couple of amateurs!

Bo Is Looking Good for Homecoming

Bo had an all-day Homecoming date with Lexie. That got him out of a lot of work at home. He sure looked good when he left for the dance that night!

The Bedroom Furniture is Out and In

Can you believe it. The bedroom furniture that Dayton made 1 1/2 years ago is finally out of the livingroom and into our bedroom. We had to add on to the deck and put a door into our bedroom, but it is finally done! Dayton is keeping us hopping!

Here is comes out of the living room.
Here is goes out the family room door and onto the deck.
Here it goes in to our new bedroom door! It barely fit in! One more inch and we would have had to donate the furniture to Deseret Industries! HA

Ohhhh.....WOW!

Ohhh...Wow, was about all I could say Friday night when I came home from Salt Lake and saw part of my hallway bathroom in the living room. Dayton was pulling it apart so that we could remodel it. That's something that we have talked about for a long time but kind of put on the back burners of priorities, especially since we have tons of company coming in 2 weeks! Dayton asked me if I thought we could get most of it done on Saturday! Hum, "I don't think so" I said, but this sure means that we will work quickly! What a great incentive! Dayton knows that if we don't get it done before he goes we may not get it done until he comes back! He is very right on that one. We worked until midnight both nights and have that room all cleared out. I made multiple calls and I think we've found a plumber and electrician who understand our dilemma. Heck, we might even get that door in our bedroom so that we can finally move his bedroom furniture out of our livingroom too! All I can say is that for all this hard work, my relatives better show up! HA!

Saturday in Manti

Today we got to go to Manti to go to the temple with Dayton and Trevor and Shaylie. They are all headed on missions in the coming months and decided to all go to the temple together. Dave, Dayton and I left Saturday morning and drove down. We went early enough so that we could stop at Dave's old "drive in" and eat a hamburger. Dave drove us around the campus of Snow College so that Dayton could see it. I don't think that Dayton was too impressed. But he humored Dave and said that the one block of buildings looked like a nice place!

We had great family representation there and it was wonderful.
Uncle Dallin drove all through the night so that he could surprise us and be there. The Arizona Laws are an amazing family to say the least.

Here's our three Law missionaries. Don't they look great!

Golfing at Star Valley Ranch!

After visiting DeeAnne's organic farm, Dave and the kids went golfing at Star Valley Ranch. They had their bets going again and all I know is that Dayton won this one. Mariah was the camera girl and a great sport. She walked all nine holes without complaint. The Marshal even stopped to commend her for that!

This was one of the few green areas in Star Valley this year. Usually it is really green but this year they've missed out on the rain. Even Roosevelt looks greener than them!

Organic Farming is NOT for Wimps!

We went to see Marion and DeeAnne's organic farm in Bedford, Wyoming. We also got to see Scooter our horse. She looks good and we are sure she is much happier. Look at that grass! She acted like she vaguely recognized us, but went back to eating very quickly!

Everyone admires the acres and acres of garden. Our boys were quick to realize the "work" involved in that and they were the first to say that they "would never want to do that for a job!"
Grandma and Anson hang out in the van. It sure beats gardening!
Just one of their greenhouses. This was the tomato house. It had more kinds of tomatoes than I could imagine. It was gorgeous.
We got to eat some of the tomatoes! YUM>
DeeAnne was proud to show us her tiny watermelons. She believes that these are probably the only watermelons ever grown in Star Valley. Too bad it snowed as we were leaving the valley on Monday. The gardening season is SHORT! Another reason Organic Farming is NOT for WIMPS!
