Basketball Senior Shots

Cache Moved In

My nephew, Cache, moved in this week as well.  He is finishing up his Physical Therapy degree and doing an internship at the medical center.  We are all excited to have him.  We had to laugh when we saw some of the boxes he was using to pack his stuff though.  Is he telling us something that we did not know?  Do I need to put those bed protectors back on his bed?

Penguin Twins

Dave and Hunter are penguin twins.  However, I don't think that Hunter will be able to wear his shirt day in and day out for the next 13 years!

How Dad's Play Differently Than Mom's

I spent a chunk of time taking pictures of Hunter's life with full plans of using them in my Human Development class.  It's nice to have a real life example!  I'm even noticing things I never did as a mom.  It is so much fun.  These pictures are going to go in the discussion of how dads play differently than moms.  They say it's good for brain development.  If that is the case...Hunter is going to be a genius!

New Years Shooting

New Years Eve

Hunter also had his first New Years Eve party after the great game.  We all enjoyed some great chili and goodies at the Woolstenhulme's and then basically hung out and chatted until about 10:30.

When we got home, we basically hung out and chatted for another hour and a half.  Fortunately Brooke discovered that there were marshmallows downstairs and the crew entertained themselves by cooking marshmallows for a while.  Bo even brought up some Starbursts from his Christmas stocking and it became a very legit indoor/outdoor cookout!

Hunter's Future Basketball Court

Hunter got to attend his first basketball game on New Years Eve night.  He seems quite engrossed with all of the actions, sounds and yelling.  He witnessed Uncle Cado lose to Payson by ONE POINT in a buzzer shot that didn't then did go in!  It was an awesome game and even though it was a loss, it felt like a win!

He's Just Too Cute

Resurrected!

Four Generations of Laws

Well we wanted to get a four generation shot of the Law's while grandma and Hunter were together.  Sitting them down on the couch was not the best angle I would have to say.  I'm hoping that someday soon, Dave, will notice that he is always wearing this penguin shirt and that it looks as bad as I keep telling him it does.  Dave really does have nice clothes.  He is a creature of habit.

Christmas Morning

Five a.m.!  I thought they might sleep in, but I heard their alarm clock going off right on the dot.  Bo especially looked ready to go.

No one was terribly surprised at what they had received this year.  For some reason, most of them had already seen their stuff.  There were a few surprised thrown in though.

Bo was very happy to get new snowboarding boots.  He is taking a snowboarding class at USU so they should be well used.
Cado got the exact basketball shoes he had ordered and two bags of dogfood which Captain and K.O. would certainly enjoy.
Grandma Law spent five days with us!  We have never had here for five days all to ourselves.  It was great.  She got a new blanket and some new warm boots so her feet don't freeze at church.
She always amazes us.  She went to the gym everyday and walked two miles.
After the gift opening, most of us went back to bed.  Except Mariah!  We each got a nice breakfast in bed surprise a few hours later.
We would often hear random bouts of music coming from the living room.  Bo now says that he wished he would have learned how to play the violin rather than the trumpet!
Hunter came two days after Christmas (with his mom and dad) and got to spend a whole week.  Each person was always on the look out for spit up.  Here's the results of his many, many UPS!
Grandma made her excellent rolls for our dinner.  They were eaten up very quickly.
After dinner, the boys decided to take on the "after dinner role" that they used to be able to do as young kids.  We would let one child go and practice their piano after each meal and they would get out of clean up.  Well, Bo and Cado decided they wanted to bring that tradition back!
There were some intense Rook games and a few Munchkin games played nightly.  I still think Rook was more popular than Munchkin...especially with Dave.

Cado's Basketball Photo Shoot! Seniors

These boys have been playing together since first grade!  How cool is that.
