Bo's Mission Pictures

 122 degrees!  That's hot.
Looks like he's got that Spanish mustache going on.

Bo always liked to torture little kids and he could keep a straight face as he did so.  Looks like things have not changed a bit!
I think Bo now loves chihuahas!
Here's the wedding that we have been waiting to see.  Bo, his companion and an old man planned, decorated and set it all up.  I'm glad they at least thought of the rose petals!

This is the family getting baptized the following week.  What a great story.
See you in 3 months Bo!

Union Homecoming 2012

Cado and six of his friends tagged spent the day and the evening together with their homecoming dates.  They went up to the mountains four-wheeling and then had a progressive supper that evening.  They went to Gavin's house for salads, Jace's for the main course and here for dessert.  It's good to bribe them to come to your house with food!  We heard a lot of laughter and noise as they ate their hot fudge sundaes so we think that means they were having fun.
The boys are:  Cody Cramer, Cado, Gavin Nielsen, Jonah Wood, Landon Winn, Jace Woolstenhulme, and George Kafusi.

Mariah's Spa Party

It was spa night on Friday as Mariah celebrated her birthday.  Her tired friends came for food, fun and rejuvenation!
 They had Hawaiian Haystacks.

 Mariah opened her presents.
They did nails, feet, and faces.
Kiley is enjoying her facial and her Ring Pop!

We told them not to smile.  That didn't seem to help.

It was a great evening and everyone went home looking much more beautiful than they had been when they had arrived!

The Mouse Ninja

We have had a dead mouse in our food storage room for a while.  How can we tell?  Well, it stinks!  It's a little less stinky after 3 weeks but Dave is finally on the mission to find that rotting carcus!  The good thing is that I get the storage room cleaned out of it.

Mariah is a Teenager!

Mariah had her 13th birthday this week.  She is almost as tall as me, we share clothes, but her feet have passed me up.  Her room looks like the room of a teenager and sometimes her attitude resembles one as well, but overall she is the greatest daughter a mom and dad could ever hope for.  We love you Roo!
Mariah had a volleyball game on her birthday.  Go Riders.

Here she is trying out her new birthday present.  She was going to get up at 6 a.m. the next morning to do her hair, but unfortunately...she slept in.  JUST LIKE A TEENAGER!

Uintah Half Marathon

Half marathon #4 is done!  We completed the Uintah Half Marathon on Saturday.  Brian came down from Star Valley just for it.  That was so cool, because Brian never comes to my house.  Anyway, he and I were both sick and coughing that night but we toughened up for the race and both made personal records again.  Of course he was a lot faster than me but this time I got finished in 1:54 minutes!  I was thrilled.  Dave was not deal last this year but his running buddies were still waiting for him at mile 7.  They wore running shoes this year and finished the last 6 miles with him again this year.  That is so cute.  They are from Vernal and just run and chat with him.  Dave says it really helps him.  They said they would be ready again next year, but they would remember to wear shorts too!
