Union Homecoming

Homecoming Parade

Our 30th Anniversary Cake

The marshmallow cake is now a 5 year tradition that Mariah has got to keep going.  Here is our 30 year anniversary cake and as you can see, we have added 3 grandkids and 1 daugther in law in the last five years.  Life is good..but cake is better ;)

Mariah and Jarom's 18th Birthday Parth

They celebrated together on their 16th birthdays and now they are celebrating again on their 18th.  This party was quite the event!

The traditional Italian Soda Bar.
The candy bar.
The smoke machine

Glow in the dark paint.

And even some gifts!

Happy 30th Anniversary

New Canoes

O.k. we are trying to be a little more sporty, so we bought some canoes and made it to Brown's Draw once.  It was actually great and our hope is that we return very soon.

Madi Has Moved In

We are so happy to have Madi Hadlock come to live with us.  She is going to spend her senior year here.  It's pretty much like a grown up twin sister for Mariah.

The Annual Tennis Float Decorating

Homecoming Dress Shopping

Mariah got asked to Homecoming and we literally had that afternoon to go dress shopping.  It made for some fast moving decisions, which was actually a good thing.

Region Tennis Meet

Cado and Savannah came for Mariah's first region game but unfortunately it was over by the time they got here.  So they went back home to Provo.

It was a downpour for Region tennis and so all the meets had to be rescheduled in indoor courts.  It made for a hectic day.
The afternoon brightened up and so the last few games were played outdoors.  Mariah won all her matches and earned the title of Region Champ.  Cado and Savannah made it back to see this game.  Thanks for your support.

The Cutest Vacation Home

We stayed at the cutest vacation home for region tennis.  The girls loved it and were charmed by the cuteness of the house and the scariness of the basement dungeon door.  We made cookies and breakfast and I think this will be one of the very happy memories they recall about tennis.
