Where's He Going???

Bo's mission papers have been sent in so on Sunday we made our guesses as to where we think he is going.  Cado keeps hoping that someone will go to the Volcano Islands.  Do we even know where that is?  Oh well, if Bo doesn't make it to those islands, maybe Cado will!

Girl's Night Out to the Lion King

The Lion King came to Salt Lake City to a sold out crowd.  Mariah and I and Kamille and Angie Wickel got to go together on Friday night to see it.  We left after school, hit the Training Table for a quick supper and then made it to the show.  We got back home to our beds at 2 a.m. and were glad for the adventure.

Our One Boating Trip of the Year

We had our ONE boating trip of the year the day that school started.  We went with the Wickels to Starvation.  We were the only boat on the entire lake.  You could certainly tell that the Law family was not nearly as skilled as the Wickel family when it comes to all of the cool stuff that you can do on the water, but they were patient at least pleased that Dave and I got in the water!  This is the third time in three years that I have faced my fear of water....and conquered! :)

The First Day of School

A Once In A Lifetime Draw...And We Didn't Even Know It!

Dave and his buddies were talking about the upcoming hunting season today and making plans to take their boys out to get their deer.  It was during this conversation that Dave mentioned that Cado had an elk tag as well.  Dave W. and Josh asked when the dates for that hunt was, Dave told them and they mentioned that those were not the days of the regular elk hunt.  Then they asked him what area he had drawn out for and Dave told them the Book Cliffs.  Then, they about fell over!  They made Dave bring them to our house and SHOW them the tag.  So Dave did and they have not stopped talking about it since.

I guess Cado's tag is "once in a lifetime" tag!  And most people don't even get one in a lifetime.  Now everyone at USU is talking about it and Dave W. and Josh are all making plans about how they will go together to get this trophy elk.  I think they want to go for the adventure as well as for the fact that they know that Dave has no idea how to hunt.
