Our Photo Shoot

Maya and I had to get in on the action so we did have our own photo shoot!  We got a whole two pictures out of it!  But at least we can remember that we were at the party too!

Sweet Sixteen Photo Shoot

At first Mariah did not want me to take any pictures, nor did any of her buddies want a parent taking pictures. I insisted and I think they are glad that I did!

Getting Ready for a Partay!

Jarom, Bryn, Mariah and Madi planned a group sweet sixteen birthday party.  The girls spent weeks planning and made for a pretty thematic party.  Jarom showed up to help!
 There was an outdoor movie.
 Glow in the dark volleyball!
A few mom helpers showed up for a minute...but that was all that they wanted mom's there.

Dave was wanted as they needed someone to grill the hotdogs.
There was an amazing Italian Soda table.

Wedding Dresses

While we were in Logan, we dug in to the cedar closet and pulled our my wedding dress and Grandma Call's.  Mariah tried them both on and they fit her pretty good.

Grandma Call's wedding dress really was pretty.  We had to do a little pinning at the top, but overall it looks pretty amazing for a 52 year old dress!

Carter's Photo Shoot

Texas Roadhouse

This amazingly photogenic family went to Texas Roadhouse to enjoy supper.  Dayton wanted to make sure I took a picture to show Cado how many rolls he had already eaten before the salads even came.  Dayton thinks he is beating the record that he and Cado made when they went their right before Dayton's marriage!

Entertaining Hunter

It only takes chocolate and swinging to win Hunter over.  This boy is incredibly proud of his new swing at his house and loves to go in it.

He also loves his new rug...well really it is for Carter.  But Hunter is enjoying it so much.  A house full of hardwood is not a very "kid friendly" house.  Hunter just laid down on the rug and wanted Dave and me to lay down on it with him.  I think he really likes a soft spot to sit.
Hunter has been helping his dad refinish the concrete and he took me outside and showed me which sponges were his and which were Dayton's.  He even showed me how that finishing work gets done.
