Mariah got to spend a week in sunny and hot Las Vegas with Brian Spencer, Savannah Price and Tennyson Whiting and 10 other tennis lovers for a camp with Dann Battistone. It was really a once in a lifetime opportunity to work with professional trainers and coaches. She came home a little more tan and happy.

Mariah came home from Las Vegas and went straight to anther tennis camp with Dann B. in Roosevelt. That was followed by the annual UBIC tennis tournament. Mariah won the women's singles matches and won $80. Then she and Jay Rabulan (her coach) won the mixed doubles and she won another $40. 
I got to take Mariah and her friends to Las Vegas for tennis and knew that I could not make it all the way back home so I had the wonderful idea to call my old roommate Joy and see if I could stay with her in St. George. Of course she agreed (because she loves me) and we had a wonderful Sunday evening and Monday together. We even got to go the Kneaders and then we went and got Joy some brand new running shoes! 
Mariah's best friend, Maddie Hadlock, moved this weekend and it has been a sad time for all of us. She is a great friend and a great example. We made her a special blanket to remember how much we love her. Good luck in Texas. Strata Leadership Camp
Mariah has had a very busy summer and one of the events she attended was the Strata Leadership Camp. It was a week long camp at Snow College. She got to hang out with her buddies and even meet some new friends.
This is the last girls camp picture for me and Dave for a while. He will be released as bishop before the next one and I was released the Sunday after camp. These are great girls. Oh and it is the last girls camp for Mariah too (even though she is not in the picture!)
