I have always been convinced that the Law's are NOT fisherman. Why? Well basically because no one has ever caught a fish while in the presence of Dave. I now take that prejudice back and my statement is changed. The Law's ARE great fishermen.
This great little fishing spot was just 100 feet away from our campsite. Once we called the right person and found out what to fish with, where to fish and what time to fish...the rest was history. Mariah caught the first and the second Blue Gill.
Cado was getting a little worried that he wasn't going to be able to keep up with little sis' but as soon as he got his pole working, he was soon caught up to her in numbers.
I got to sit on the side and take pictures because I am the only one without a fishing license.
Pretty soon, both Cado and Mariah were pulling in fish with every cast. Cado even said, "This doesn't even feel like fishing." (How could it! He is use to Law fishing where you DON'T catch anything!)
WE took these babies home and cooked them up for our 10:00 p.m. late night snack. Yum, blue gil are pretty tasty.
