I could hear laughter downstairs the other morning and so I went down to check it out. I found Mariah and Cado in his room and Cado was creating his very own mascara mustache for "Flashback Wednesday" at school. He even dug Dave's letterman's jacket out of the old chest and it fit him perfectly. I told him that he needed the tighty shorts if he wanted to really be "genuine" but he didn't go that far which I am probably grateful for!
His homecoming date came and decorated his room while he was out and about.
Fortunately, she was nice and didn't trash it with glitter and confetti and all of that stuff that we are still vacuuming up from last year.
Cado had a lot of Mike and Ikes to count to see if she was really saying YES>
To top off the night, he had his surprise birthday gift from the Whitings just waiting for him. It's a Potato Popper. What could be more exciting. You put a water balloon in it and pass it around to all of your besties until it pops! Oh the Whitings come up with the greatest gifts. No wonder he is the most popular kid on the block.
