Cado had his Green River Tournament on December 19, 20, and 21. They had four games and ended up 1-3. They lost to Gillette. They got behind 20 points in the first quarter and then kept pace with Gillette for the rest of the game.
They beat Evanston on Friday.
They had a little recovery time at the mall inbetween their tough games! Cado and Landen learned that this bike is really not made for two! It made some really strange sounds.
Karen, Mariah and I spent our evenings making sandwiches and stuff for the boys so they wouldn't starve!
On Saturday the boys played Sheridan and Cheyenne East. Landen sprained his ankle in the first minutes of the first game and they missed him. But, overall the boys only lost by a few points to each team. Cado had great games and is working like a trooper this year. I especially like how he works to cheer his team on...even when things aren't very cheery. If he can learn anything this year, I would hope it would be that.
We've been going to these tournaments with these boys for 9 years now. This is our last one. I'm not quite sure who is more sad; the boys or us!
