Dave Turns 52
Mariah and Bo make Dave breakfast in bed for his birthday. These burritos were even filled with homemade hashbrowns. I was quite impressed.
Our Quick Spring Break
It was Spring Break last week and Mariah had an orthodontist appointment on Monday. Dave told me that he would teach my class so that Mariah and I could spend the night in the city and do something fun. So we took him up on it. We spent the night in Lehi at Thanksgiving Point. We went to Cinderella and it was fabulous and so was the theater.
Our hotel room was so cute. We tried to get a shot of the cool wall...and us!
We had a lovely morning breakfast at McDonalds.
And, after a day of shopping we got our nails done. We chose pink for our nail polish, but when they put mine on it was a teal green. I decided not to make them redo and have quite enjoyed these funny colored nails.

Hunter's Visit
Hunter came to visit all by himself from Wednesday until Sunday. He was such a good boy!
He got a banana and some yogurt every single morning. That is the mainstay of his diet!
He was intrigued with the loft at the preschool this time. He loved going up and down the stairs.
One of his favorite things is being swung in a blanket. He will just go there and lay and pull the blanket close. That is our sign that he wants to swing.
He was always into something...the cabinets, the drawers, our closets. No wonder, he would find good things. Most of the time he wanted chocolate. One time he thought the beef bouillon was chocolate and he was very disappointed when he tasted it.
He became great friends with all of the animals. This is Bubba, our bummer lamb. Hunter got so he would put his hand out for every animal to lick. Then he would pet them.
This kids loves snap peas and hummus. How many kids love hummus??? Not many.
We got a new trampoline for Hunter. Bo put it together. Wrong the first time..wrong the second time! Now I am just hoping it will get fixed before this boy grows up.
Petting the cat.
Mariah had a track meet in Vernal. Hunter did not like the track meet one bit. He ended up going home early.
Swinging our boy on his last night in Roosevelt!
He's even cute after he just pooped in the tub!

Coloring Easter Eggs
Coloring Easter Eggs like pros. Look carefully and you will be able to guess which ones belong to Bo!
Thank Goodness for the Guffey's
I've been patiently waiting for 3 years for this back yard fence. Thank goodness for the Coltdon Guffey. It is finally getting done...just the way Dave likes it. (Him watching and Coltdon working!)
Look At Our Front Porch
How many people look out their front door (that's rather dirty) and see dogs, chickens and a lamb? Probably only the Law's.
Here's Bubba our bummer lamb. He is one heck of a friendly guy. In fact he is so friendly that Blaine has had to bring him home, the Carter's have had to bring him home and the Wellbourne's just barely brought him home...after they said they had "taken him into their house and fed him their baby's bottle of milk!" I guess we are going to have to start putting him in the field. We'll still let him sleep in the garage at night though.

Bo and Roo's Easter Egg Hunt
You would not think that Easter Egg hunts would be quite as exciting as they are when the kids are little. Well the trick is to hide MONEY in the eggs. Those kids search all over the house for them and they are still searching!
Bo got his own Wiffle Ball set. This will bring back all of the good memories of playing it with the Whitings.

Is It Really That Hard?
I am still stunned at my family's inability to put the toilet paper roll on the roller. I have replace our rollers with the easiest ones possible so that all they have to do is slide the old one off and put the new one on. Do you think they do it? NOOOO! For some reason, they think that setting the new roll clear on the other side of the sink is much more convenient. I give up.
2015 Early Childhood Presentations
Betsy and I presented together at the 2015 Early Childhood Conference. She was sweet enough to jump in when my other co-presenter couldn't make it. I was so thankful for all of Betsy's wisdom and help. She turned my IDEA into a REALITY and together we were able to "hit it out of the ballpark," on a topic that was really quite challenging. I have never had people telling me that they "love me" and "where have I been all their life!" The director of Weber State University even came up afterwards and asked if she could use the materials we had shared. She said, "I have been trying to do this for years without success. I know how much time you have put in to this. You have taken a very hard subject and made it make perfect sense."
Here are our attendees hard at work writing down everything they know.
The best part of the weekend was that we got to spend Friday and Saturday together. Sharing a king size bed and some really late night laughs was good therapy for both of us.
