Organic Farming is NOT for Wimps!

We went to see Marion and DeeAnne's organic farm in Bedford, Wyoming. We also got to see Scooter our horse. She looks good and we are sure she is much happier. Look at that grass! She acted like she vaguely recognized us, but went back to eating very quickly!

Everyone admires the acres and acres of garden. Our boys were quick to realize the "work" involved in that and they were the first to say that they "would never want to do that for a job!"
Grandma and Anson hang out in the van. It sure beats gardening!
Just one of their greenhouses. This was the tomato house. It had more kinds of tomatoes than I could imagine. It was gorgeous.
We got to eat some of the tomatoes! YUM>
DeeAnne was proud to show us her tiny watermelons. She believes that these are probably the only watermelons ever grown in Star Valley. Too bad it snowed as we were leaving the valley on Monday. The gardening season is SHORT! Another reason Organic Farming is NOT for WIMPS!

Yep, better to farm cattle up there in the cold country! I hope DeeAnn's farm does well...I like my organic produce!
