Cado's basketball team spent Tuesday through Thursday playing in a Salt Lake tournament. This was the same tournament that they got killed in last year. Well this year was different and these boys came out the champions and Cado quite possibly had the best game of his life in the championship match. One of the teams they played was even coached by Thurl Bailey and Ryan Cuff. They are ex-famous basketball players. Now they are probably looking at Dave L., Dave W. and Rick N. for some coaching advice :)
Look at these kids body language...they are pretty pleased with themselves.
I think that this just might be one of Dave's happiest moments of his life. It may even beat the day he got married!The only thing these kids asked for was supper at the Texas Roadhouse Grill if they won. So, we all happily ate there at 10:00 p.m. after this winning game. MMMmmm.
