Lunch time was very popular at our camper. We tried to have food for whoever wanted it and found that we had "takers" who we didn't even know! We counted over 16 people in our camper at one time and there were more outside eating! |
Ok, maybe we are doing a little better in the sheep business. Cayden and Mariah actually got blue ribbons this year and Bo was just one spot behind the blues. That's improvement for the Law Sheep Herd. Unfortunately we think that the recession has hit the Basin livestock buyers and the sheep did not sell for nearly as much as they have in the previous years. I guess we've been spoiled. Cado was very fortunate to get $500.00, Mariah $485.00, and Bo, unfortunately hit the ring right when the prices dropped. He got $325.00. It's a good thing that he's had a great summer job to pull him through. ha ha
When Mariah had to go get her lamb to sell it, we found her crying in the pen. Then after she sold it (knowing it's fate) she went to the camper and cried some more. She really liked her cute lamb. :(
