Call Reunion 2010. Remember When...Begin Again.

We spent the past weekend with 400 of our closets relatives.  It was a huge event due to the fact that I have 26 aunts and uncles, 98 first cousins and over 200 second cousins.  (I guess that's what they would be).  Here Whitney, Emi and Ashley are ready to welcome everyone to the reunion.
Dallin, Carbon, Cado and Cache are waiting in line for a swig of the rootbeer that was made in a 100 gallon vat!
Mariah is showing off the baby room in her Great Grandma's house that has now become a museum.
Grandpa Call fills his post of welcoming those coming.
They had so many activities going on it was impossible to do them all but Mariah and Gage lucked out in getting two rides in the cool "tractor train."
Cado and Carbo got busy making their hat tutu's.  This was really a craft for the four year olds, but they didn't care...they wanted one!
At the lumberjack station you got to saw your own wook and then get the famous Evan Call brand on it.
Ben with his brand.  Boy, we were all glad that WE weren't the ones getting branded!
How would you like to be chosen as the photographer for this group?  They said this lady said, "NO" at first but they finally talked her in to the feat of trying to photograph 400 people and a giant barn at the same time!
The boys get ready for their fittings for the traditional fashion show.  They were the polyester boys!
Here they are looking good.  Where did they learn how to pose?  Some of these pants were from the 1800's!  Who would save stuff that long????
Cado's pants from the 1800's.
We had an amazing backdrop for our evening program!
Mariah and Whitney show off the bridesmade dresses that they got to model.
Crafts, crafts and more crafts!
For our craft we made bottle rockets.  We are getting a lot of mileage out of this little project.  If you haven't made these things before...you should.  They were an amazing hit and I am sure that we have hundreds of parents thanking us for sending these flying machines home with their children.
Cado got his rocket to really fly.
My aunt Ruth and I finally got a picture of us together.  I have always had the honor of being told that I look like her.  I remember that I got to be a flower girl for her when she got married and I thought that she was soooo beautiful :)
Here are the baby pictures of Grandpa Call and his brother's and sisters that are now on display in the museum.
This note was so cute I just had to take a picture of it.  I'm charmed to think that my dad loved to wrap up in the skirt of this dress.
