Dave was quite surprised to go to the barn and see this! Yes, our white chicken had three baby chicks. She had obviously been hiding them somewhere special because the dogs did not eat the eggs. Unfortunately, we left Bo in charge of them for three days and now only one chick is still alive. The other two died a fateful death as they tried to get water out of the big water trough because their water had not been replenished! Fortunately, the Whitings went over and filled the little water bowl and we hope to keep the last chick alive. With our luck though, it will probably be a ROOSTER!
