Jordan, Mariah, Kennedy and I ran the USU Moonshine 5k. It was a late night, glow in the dark race filled with music, costumes, clowns, and lots of rain.
It was a fundraiser for USU students going into teaching. There were about 200 people who registered and about 150 who actually showed up in the rain.
We had some dry moments and some extra time to kill as we waited for the 10:00 p.m. start.
We watched some dance contests.
We thought the finish sign was cool and Jordan imagined what she would feel like when she finished the race.
It all began without rain, but when we hit mid course, it began to pour and pour. Kennedy won the entire even and got a nice moonshine jug. She was also lucky enough to miss the rain. The rest of us wished we could have been as fast as she! Needless to say, we all got drenched.
