Dave's good friend Shanon Johnson passed away Monday, June 29. He had melanoma cancer and fought it bravely for a long time. He was a coach and a teacher at Uintah High School. He and Dave knew each other from high school and were roommates in college for a couple of years. Shanon married Tara three weeks before Dave and I were married. They have 3 children. Dave had the honor of being able to speak at his funeral. Shanon's funeral was a wonderful, modest tribute to a truly great guy.
