A Great Recipe for Scones (Especially for Indian Tacos)

I have learned that in the Basin, we don't call these tacos Navajo tacos. The Ute Tribe lives in this area and I asked a member of the tribe if they call these tacos, Navajo tacos. She told me that they call them "Indian Tacos," thus I have changed the name.

Indian Taco Scones

1/2 c. water
Dissolve yeast in water

1 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
2 t. salt
1/2 c. butter
Scald these four ingredients together.

6 c. flour
2 eggs

Dissolve yeast in 1/2 c. water. Add the cooled, milk mixture to the yeast. Add 3 cups flour and 2 eggs. Add the rest of the flour and mix. Let rise. Roll out on floured cloth and cut into scones. Let rise again. Cook in hot oil until browned.

For Indian Tacos top with:
